About

My name is Enni Aigbomian. I am in the 2015 graduate class of The George Washington University located in DC and I enjoy taking pictures with my hands in my pockets. I am also a cofounder of the online magazine/blog RhôneMag. This blog/magazine was created to be a sort of inspiration source for whomever seeks it out or comes into contact with it. I could give you a long history of where I am coming from but I'd rather let you watch and read about where I am going. That's more interesting I think. In the meantime I'll give you a rundown of some of the things that inspire me in my day-to-day experience. Generally I'm inspired by different types of music--alt rock, hip-hop, jazz, Regina Spektor and Serge Gainsbourg. Specifically I am inspired by the writings of Arthur Rimbaud "Sensation", James Baldwin "Sonny's Blues", and the people I see and interact with everyday on the street--like the ultra-cool, hot Korean floor-mate who lives in the same Sophomore year dorm as me (you know who you are!). If you have any questions or would like to further explore how my brain interprets the world around me. Visit my Tumblr, Autumn Villanelle and/or follow me on Instagram at enni_ai.
keep inspired!

Hey. My name is Olaide Ajomagberin and I am the other mysterious co-founder of Rhonemag. To me, Rhonemag is for a community of people who have the unquenchable need to consume and devour all of the ordinary and existential beauty in the world. It’s a place where people can find inspiration in art, literature, fashion, music and film. I think of this blog as an archive of all our musings as me and Enni approach our unknown journeys in life. Here's a little rundown about who I am-- I’m very good at starting projects and not finishing them. I get bored easily, which makes me seem rather fickle in people's eyes.  I would rather stay home in bed and read than go outside and socialize. I’m quiet and sometimes reserved but I have a loud, inquisitive mind. With everything I do, I aim to give notice to the seemingly ordinary and mundane things of our progressively modern, tech-savvy world. I’m a big fan of 80s/90s movies, I love to dance alone in my undies, read dystopian and fantasy novels and pretend that my daily horoscopes hold some sort of truth to my life. Also, I’m a Gemini. So…
